Want to make Philly a healthier city, but need support? Check out these grant opportunities with deadlines this fall:

1. America Walks and generous Active People, Health Nations partners are excited to announce another round of our popular Community Change Grant program. This program will award grantees community stipends for projects related to creating healthy, active, and engaged places to live, work, and play.

Funding Amount: $1,500

2. The outcomes of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to affect many communities across Philadelphia, and the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) team wants to do our part to help. Indego, as part of BBSP, is now offering min-grants for non-profit organizations to support operations or programming related to COVID-19 relief efforts.

Funding Amount: $250 to $500

Application Deadline: November 11th, 2020

3. Livable Communities Engagement Project: Get Healthy Philly is seeking community partners to help understand, explore, and address the intersection of walkability and other livability features in Philadelphia’s communities.

Funding Amount: Up to $25,000

4. The Economy League of Greater Philadelphia is joining forces with Independence Blue Cross to launch the Well City Challenge – a social impact challenge to engage and support everyday innovators with new creative ideas for addressing Philadelphia’s millennial health and mental health challenges.

Funding Amount: Over $50,000 in prizes and an additional $50,000 in seed investments

5. Feet First Philly is partnering with the Department of Public Health to provide funding for mini-grants to create public space amenities, particularly in underserved communities. The mini-grants will be awarded to address the financial and technical barriers that organizations face when creating safe public space enhancements.

Funding Amount: Between $500 and $2000

Application Deadline: December 15th, 2020
