Good Food, Healthy Hospitals Initiative

Hospitals promoting a culture of health through food

Good Food, Healthy Hospitals brings together Philadelphia based hospitals to make healthy food the easy choice and create a culture of health through food.  Philadelphia hospitals serve and sell food to thousands of patients, staff and visitors every day.  As such, they have great capacity to impact the health of their communities.  Get Healthy Philly has joined with The Common Market  and the American Heart Association, to launch this initiative to promote good and healthy eating throughout the hospital food environment.  To date we have engaged 16 Philadelphia hospitals to sign the pledge to offer healthier and more sustainable food and beverage options to patients, staff, and visitors every day.
