National Nutrition Month 2021

by Nutrition Assistant, Medinah Bey

According to Eatright.org, “National Nutrition Month® is an annual nutrition education and information campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. It is celebrated every year in the month of March and focuses on the importance of making healthy food choices and building physical activity habits.”

This year’s National Nutrition Month theme is to personalize your plate which means that “there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition and health. We are all unique with different bodies, goals, backgrounds and tastes!”
