Refresh with a Healthy Popsicle

Hot summer days are the perfect time to enjoy ice cold refreshing popsicles! Drexel Food Lab is working on a project to develop kid-approved popsicles made from whole fruit with no added sugar. Check out these samples that we taste-tested recently.

Banana Berry Popsicle (red): Made with banana, strawberry, lemon zest, lemon juice, and raspberries. 

Pineapple Banana Berry Popsicle (purple): Made with pineapple, banana, blueberry, and lemon zest. 

These are kid and adult-friendly. Try making your own popsicles at home!

Pineapple Banana Berry Popsicle Recipe  

Pineapple            2/3 cup 

Banana                1 small, about 1/3 cup sliced 

Blueberries         ½ cup 

Lemon zest         ½ teaspoon 

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into popsicle molds, freeze, and enjoy!
