What are Summer Meals?
The Summer Meals Program provides free meals to kids while school is out, helping them get the nutritious food they need to stay healthy all summer long. There are no income requirements, ID, or registration in qualifying areas.
The Coalition against Hunger shows more than 1,000 places in Philadelphia that serve free meals and snacks to kids and teens age 18 and under. Sites include recreation centers, churches, schools, public housing complexes and community organizations.
